Tender for TF casing structures published

The tender for the supply of the Toroidal Field (TF) Coil Casing Structures (Fig. 1) has been published.

The Contractor is asked to supply and delivery to DTT the items that can be summarized in:

  • 2 Mock-ups.
  • 18 complete sets each of TF Coil Casing Components.
  • The technical and quality documentation related to the manufactured items and the production process relevant aspects.

The deadline for receiving offers or requests to participate is 11/07/2024. Additional information at this link. The bidders can register on the DTT procurement platform (link) in order to download the technical and tender documentation.

The publication of the tender constitutes a major milestone for the DTT project since these components will be part of the TF modules manufacturing, whose winding packs are already under fabrication at ASG Superconductors in La Spezia.
