The contract for the procurement of a Toroidal Field Power Supply (including the converter transformers, medium voltage switchgear and dummy load) has been awarded to JEMA S. A. (Spain) on 18th March 2022, followed by the Kickoff Meeting (ENEA Research Centre, Frascati) on 22nd March 2022.
During the Meeting several technical and quality aspects have been discussed, the provisional technical proposal of JEMA presented and the road map of the future activity agreed.
JEMA S. A. has huge experience in the fields of power electronics and of power supplies for big science; the list of its cooperations includes MAST, JET, JT60SA, WENDELSTEIN 7-X, TRI ALPHA ENERGY, LHC-CERN.
