We are happy to announce that the first delivery of strands has arrived at ENEA Frascati (3 tons on August 4, 2020).
By the end of October further 7 tons of strands will be delivered at ENEA Frascati.
Regione Lazio, through FESR POR program, funds Divertor Tokamak Test Facility Project with a contribution of 25 M€ corresponding to 5% of the total investment. The funding is part of a specific Agreement between ENEA and Regione Lazio aimed at supporting the construction of the infrastructure at ENEA Frascati Research Center.
Regione Lazio support for DTT is an important example of collaboration between local authorities and the research scientific world to achieve efficient, safe and environmentally friendly solutions to the energy needs of the future.
The financing is specifically aimed at the purchase of the superconducting strands necessary for the construction of the windings of the magnetic system of the machine.
