By a recent resolution of the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), the DTT project has been included in the “National Research Infrastructure Plan 2021-2027”. The DTT is thus placed within the roadmap of the important European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI) for the scientific domain Energy.

The limited number of infrastructures included in the Plan (just 131) confirms the strategic relevance that Italy attributes to the DTT project.
