DTT at the Big Science Business Forum

The Big Science Business Forum (BSBF 2024) held in Trieste from October 1 to 4 in Trieste was an opportunity to connect researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore collaborations within the Big Science market. The event was organized by ten leading European Big Science Organizations: CERN, ESA, ESO, ESS, ESRF, European XFEL, FAIR, F4E, ILL, and SKAO, with the support of PERIIA, the pan-European network of national Industry Liaison Officers.

At the opening of BSBF 2024, Minister Antonio Tajani emphasized Europe's ambition to lead in science and technology for the benefit of its citizens. Gilberto Dialuce, President of ENEA, presented the activities that ENEA is pursuing in energy technolgies and in big science projects. Massimiliano Fedriga, President of Friuli Venezia Giulia, gave his warm welcome to all participants and underlined the importance of initiatives like BSBF for driving forward collective scientific objectives. Prof. Romanelli, President of the DTT consortium, presented the status of the DTT projects underlining the opportunities for the European industries.
