The 16th edition of the European Conference on Applied Superconductivity (EUCAS) was held in Italy (Bologna, 3-7 September 2023). The conference, organized by the European Society for Applied Superconductivity, had a large participation of both scientists (around 1100 people) and companies/laboratories (around 40 exhibitors).

With an invited talk, two oral presentations and posters, the DTT provided the international scientific community with a detailed illustration of the state of the art of the design and construction of the DTT magnetic system and the main technological solutions adopted.

At the DTT box in the Exhibitors Session, the "DTT Open Dialog" Program of scheduled meetings between DTT scientists and EUCAS participants was successfully carried out. The program included several topics of the DTT magnetic system project, including the cooling system design, the conductor tests at SULTAN facility, the status of the cable and coils construction.
