On February 3, 2022, Ansaldo Nucleare, partner of the Ansaldo Energia group, has signed a  contract for over 21 million euros for the management of multidisciplinary technical-managerial support services relating to the construction of Divertor Tokamak Test (DTT) facility.

The technical-managerial support concerns activities of Architectural Engineer, Specialized Engineering and Project Management, Supervision and assistance in construction and commissioning. 
The contract has a duration of 4 years, which can be extended to another four years.

"The signing of this contract makes us very proud;  with this agreement related to the fusion energy roadmap  Ansaldo Nucleare further consolidates its position as leader in the Italian industrial chain, a main role that  has already started thanks to the collaboration with ITER”  referred Luca Manuelli, CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare. He defined DTT project "a pillar of the energy transition in its various technological and application manifestations, currently linked to decommissioning, to what fusion energy will represent in the next decades and, in the very next future  to  mini reactors.
