Bernard Bigot, 72 years old,  passed away.

Director of ITER, the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, since 2015, Dr. Bigot was a famous French scientist and well know manager. Before joining ITER, he had served as Chairman at CEA, the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission. 

Bigot's death  is a great  loss for all the international scientific fusion community.
