Senator Marco Scurria and MP Massimo Milani visit ENEA Frascati, future home of DTT

This morning Senator Marco Scurria and MP Massimo Milani have visited the ENEA Research Centre in Frascati where DTT will be installed.

During the visit, the institutional representatives have met Prof. Francesco Romanelli, President of DTT, Avv.Francesca Mariotti, President of ENEA, and Ing. Alessandro Dodaro, Director of ENEA’s Nuclear Department (NUC). The meeting has provided an opportunity to discuss the scientific and technological objectives of the DTT project and its role within the Italian and European fusion research framework.

The visit continued with a tour of research infrastructures at the ENEA Frascati Research Centre including the Divertor Laboratory and the Frascati Coil Cold Test Facility (FCCT). An inspection of the site designated for the future DTT facility has been also carried out.

During the meetings, Senator Scurria and MP Milani have expressed their appreciation for DTT project, highlighting its importance as one of major research infrastructures supporting the advancement of knowledge and technologies required for future fusion systems.
