DTT at the Forefront of the 33rd European Fusion Programme Workshop in Zagreb
DTT - Divertor Tokamak Test played a pivotal role at the 33rd European Fusion Programme Workshop (EFPW), held last week, from February 3rd –5th . Co-organized by the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) and EUROfusion, this year’s summit gathered Europe’s leading experts to tackle one of the most critical hurdles for commercial fusion: heat and particle exhaust management.
The event opened with high-level institutional greetings from Dr. Radovan Fuchs, Croatia’s Minister of Science, Education, and Youth, followed by strategic insights from Tonči Tadić (RBI), Elisabeth Wolfrum (STAC Chair), and Gianfranco Federici (EUROfusion Programme Manager).
Due to its primary mission of exploring advanced power exhaust solutions, the DTT team presented an in-depth analysis of its divertor design. The workshop underlined the need for sustained collaboration, shared infrastructures and an evidence-based approach to foster further developments of power and particle exhaust solutions.
