Structural works have begun at the ENEA Frascati Research Centre as part of the preparatory activities for the construction of the new complex that will host DTT – Divertor Tokamak Test.

The operations are part of the site preparation phase for the THB – Tokamak Hall and New Building project, which includes the construction of more than 150,000 cubic metres of new facilities, including the tokamak hall.

The works have been awarded to VIAE Srl, a Rome-based company operating in the construction and demolition sector and will last 120 days from the official handover of the site.

This phase represents a fundamental operational step ahead of the subsequent construction activities of the DTT complex within the ENEA Frascati Research Centre.
