Our site in Frascati Research area

DTT is located in the ENEA-Research Center site in Frascati.

The Frascati site, located in the outskirt of Rome, is one of the largest research areas in Europe, where the labs of ENEA and other research institutions, namely those of the European Space Agency, the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), the National Research Center (CNR), the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF), and the campus of the University of Tor Vergata are located.

The design of the constructions hosting DTT was carried out with the utmost attention to environmental aspects. The buildings, all inserted within the perimeter of the ENEA-Research Center in Frascati, recover a large part of the existing constructions, updating their characteristics to new needs; the new buildings are designed according to criteria of essentiality, economy, and careful respect for the environment.

The project was approved by the competent central and regional authorities.

Preliminary investigations are currently underway for the opening of the construction sites; the beginning of construction activities is scheduled for 2024.

Below, a sketch of the building distribution is reported.
